"This our first time spending overnight at Solvang. Kings Frederick is perfect for our stay. It’s so close to all the treasures/ beautiful spots of this small village. My son loves the scavenger hunt that they provide. They gave him a small present after we walked around the village and finding those historical spots. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. The staffs are nice and helpful. The breakfast was good especially their danish pastry! I will for sure coming back and recommend this place to...

"We loved our stay at the Winston, as did our dog Mocha. Even though there was is no staff permanently at the hotel, whenever we did cross paths with them, they were very helpful. One of them was so kind as to put their employee microwave out for us so that we could warm up our dogs food. the room was larger than we expected and was absolutely beautiful. Parking was easy and check in was as well once we figured it out. Will stay again!"

"Staff was pretty rude on the phone when we had questions about the reservation. Check-in was supposed to be 4pm, but we had to wait til 4:45pm to get our room. Room was spacious and clean. Water pressure was awesome. Not very sound proof. We could hear kids crying and running outside the room and upstair. So it really depends on how lucky you are. We were lucky enough that crying and running was only for a short period. Pool was nice!"
