"Beautiful grounds, wonderful views, our suite was amazing, lobby stunning. Bar food was not good, although, buffet breakfast was plentiful and good choice. Our stay was unfortunately same time as a large contingency of all male golfers and the noise in the bar was unbearable both during our evening and breakfast. We would not have stayed this particular night had we known."

"Nicely decorated and very clean, cramped and cold though. In a fairly grubby part of town. Very overlooked by other buildings into room. Staff assistance was prompt but there is no in person presence. Quiet at night and good black out blinds. "

"Good price, parking was a good perk, and staff were all helpful and friendly. However the hotel looks very tired - my room had broken fixtures & sockets, ripped dated furniture, and no hot water in the morning. The bar had ants crawling over trays & cat vomit on the carpet. I wasn’t expecting luxury for the price but it was a bit grim"

"Staff make the hotel. Had a bath tub toilet combo. Bath was extremely clean. Really pleased as thats how I judge cleanliness. Carpet in the room could have been vacummed more but bed clean, white sheets comfy, not even one stain. Impressed. Asked for a particular room my child is SEN, that was also given with no hassle (obviously within the price range booked). Really happy, kind staff especially room service the staff who delivered breakfast to room 248 on the 26 May. Its our second time...

"No parking as advertised. Staff were very casual - often sat on their phones on the sofa round the corner from the front desk. There was nowhere to hang the shower hose. It was just loose over the bath. They did fix it once I told them, but I would've expected it to have been addressed before my arrival. The windows were a bit broken and there was pigeon mess all over the sills. The view was very derelict. Overall it was ok for a place to lay my head on a work trip, but there's plenty of...

"Couldn’t fault the people. The bathroom will need a refurb soon. The only hotel where I have stayed recently to find the soap dispenser doesn’t fall apart when depressed!"
