"Beautiful historic building that had everything we needed for a lovely stay in DC. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the location was perfect for site-seeing in DC. Within walking distance to thee White House and most of the museums on the national mall. Also close to many great restaurants and the metro and Fords Theater. The Riggs restaurant is also excellent with excellent service. They have a large gym downstairs and many great amenities. The bed and pillows were very comfortable....

"Property was confusing to find. Hallways needed to be vacuumed. Room was very clean and stocked with a few things. Beds were comfortable. Shower worked well. Breakfast was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the $30.00 price tag per person. Staff was friendly."

"I was so disappointed that the fridge was full and if I wanted an empty one ,I had to call to get a new one which ment it would not be cold for some time. Other than that what a great hotel and staff."

"I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff is what really makes this place special! Our first room had an AC issue and she quickly got us into another room. They treated my 3 year old with such kindness. Very outgoing staff. The food was amazing and open late. The rooftop bar looked cool, although I didn’t go up there. The only thing I could complain about is I think the beds could’ve been more comfortable. I felt like the beds were more on the cheap side and kinda hard/thin."

"We booked our stay well in advance for a family event. Checked in early, and was told a crib for our infant would be up in a few minutes. Two hours later at the crib did not arrive. We stopped by the front desk again and they told us the crib would be right up another hour later they told us they would have to check with another hotel to borrow a crib. Another hour and a half later, they told us that we would not be able to get a crib. What were we supposed to do with our infant? They advise...

"Property was nice. Reserved a waterfront room and only had a glimpse of the water was faced toward the street and the water was in the distance. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and the temperature was not regulated."

"I liked the rooftop bar and the terrace on the 4th floor. I didn't like the high parking fee - $68.00 per night."
