"We had a wonderful short stay at the Belmond Maroma to celebrate our engagement. The staff and their service were top notch. In particular, Emanuel took great care of us.
The spa was wonderful for both treatments and some time in the hot/cold plunges, steam and sauna. "We stayed about a week.
Very secluded away from the noise. Very quiet and relaxing.
Minimal entertainment which is fine for us.
Cancun and Playa del Carmen are fairly close by Uber or Taxi.
Excellent service, personalized. Butlers are excellent.
Pools are beautiful.
Food is ok.
Definitely recommend."

"Our stay was great! For the price, the value was amazing. The location is great, it's actually nice being away from the zona hotelera. There are a few suggestions I have for the hotel management that caught me off guard, but other than that, it was amazing especially for the price.
Suggestions:
1. The biggest thing was that the pool is NOT heated. We went when it was 65-75 degrees F, and the pool was pretty cold the entire time. We had to get a few drinks deep in order to swim comfortably....

Breathless is breathtaking! Butlers Esteohania and Gamboa were beyond accommodating and always available with any questions we had.
