"The Whaler is a great resort for the price. My partner and I stayed there for four days and had a wonderful experience. The staff was professional, friendly, and always helpful. Our room had an amazing view, and the location was perfect, right next to Whalers Village. That said, Whalers Village had fewer stores than we expected. "The property was large, in an excellent location to beach and other local businesses. There are some things worth mentioning. PROS Property was a short walk to beach, actually across the street. The unit had a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer combo in unit. Beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella was provided. Designated FREE parking spot. Pools were clean and quiet. "Budget wise, it’s a great deal"

"Beautiful place! Beautiful view (ocean side). Be aware that "partial view" of the ocean is pretty partial as buildings are between you and the beach, but you have a nice pie slice of ocean and a great view of sunsets over Molokai. Grounds are lovely and the pool is clean. Island Vibes Cafe next door is a treasure. Enjoy your visit!"

"The property and rooms are very nice. Very lush and beautiful landscaping and easy walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The issues that we had is that the air conditioner in the room was either not working properly, or undersized for the room. We had it set at 68 and it was hot in the room. We tried to turn it down to 66 and eventually 64, and I have a temp meter and the room was reading 80 degrees at night. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We couldn't open the windows...

"Seem like you have to tippy toe around the property front office people will blame you for stuff that you don’t do. The condo is very nice but it needs new pans other than that. Great location very clean looking place. Be careful sitting on the balcony having dinner people above you or shake their rugs out over the railing all in all good place would do it again"

"The place was very clean. The staff was very communicative and accommodating. I stayed Wednesday-Sunday and I extended my stay 1 night which was very fast and easy. They left us chairs and towels which was very nice for the beach. The place was very spacious for 2 people. If you want to cook this has plenty of counter space.
