"I just want to start by saying that I'm extremely grateful that we had a place to lay our head for the night after traveling for hours. So initially, upon checking in, you see a nice clean lobby. Smells clean and everything. But it's very deceiving. The rooms we're moderately cleaned, and I say, moderately, because you can tell they tried. But there was remnants of hair, dirt etc. On the popcorn ceilings above, you can tell that they had attempted to paint over mold spores. The bathtub/shower...

"I've stayed here many times while traveling through Mobile. First, to give credit where it's due, I still consider this the best hotel in Mobile. That said, each stay seems to come with a different room quality and a different staff experience. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, although on occasion I get the impression that some employees are not particularly happy to be there. The rooms are the biggest unknown. I sometimes wonder if booking through Expedia results in being...

"For the price you pay for a room ,breakfast should be free.... we had to pay $7.99 and $12.99 for breakfast ... Just thought that was odd ... any other hotel you stay at breakfast is FREE.."

"The only thing good about this hotel was the staff. Other than that, the toilet ran all night. The shower was a pressure washer and leaked all over the floor. The AC was so loud that it woke you up every time it came on middle and the elevators were very Janky and made you feel like they would snap at any second."

"The breakfast was minimal with waffle, yogurt, cereal, and bread. The room had an odd smell to it. The beds are firm. Walls are thin."

"We reserved two rooms about one month prior to our trip. Upon arriving at 10:30 pm we were notified that there was a software update in their system, and they could not tell us if we had a room or not. After Front Desk attendant checked a few rooms, we were told no room was available. Reflects poor management, poor IT support. If you’re running a national Brand hotel chain, I would expect more proactive management practices."
