"We came from Michigan during the beginning of summer. The hotel is right smack in the middle of Long Island City with a ton of food options, dominantly Asian which was awesome. Amazing area, went on plenty of walks or getting back from the city real late and we never felt in danger or cautious. Breakfast is good nothing crazy but gets you started for the day and that’s all that counts."

"The property was clean, well appointed, just what we needed. Our suite had a microwave, dishes, silverware, cups and mugs and a toaster. We were able to make allergy friendly breakfasts and lunches which saved us. The property is about a 10 minute walk to the subway which was good during the day, but I wouldn’t do that in the evening. "I had a four-hour drive to get to this hotel, and unfortunately my experience upon arrival was very disappointing. The front desk staff were rude when I was trying to explain a situation that I was confused about. Instead of listening and helping, the front desk manager put his hand in my face, which I found extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. "Helpful and very accommodating staff, clean room and great location. The downsides: both elevators went out of service during my stay (I was on the top floor) and a very loud thump could be heard and felt throughout the room when the AC turned off."

"Booked this hotel last second. Wish I could have stayed longer. The decor is amazing and the location is great for walking around sweet Greenpoint, and for an early flight to LGA. They put a hold on my cc for $250 for incidentals, which was on the high side but it was refunded right away the next day after checkout (which sometimes can be an issue for longer holds at other boutique hotels in NYC)!
