The bathroom was sparkling, the shower very good and there was a heated towel rail. The location is well signposted, has plenty of parking space and is an easy 15 minute walk from the centre of town."

"Always had good stay with village before but this time there was problem at check in as I booked through Expedia. Paid through Expedia, and only had to pay for late check out at hotel but they tried to take full stay and the extra payment. They kept saying there was issue as there was insufficient fund in my card but I had already paid for stay. They blamed Expedia for this. Already a bad start to the stay. The rooms itself are good then when it came to the next day, even though we paid for late...

"Wonderful stay at the George. The room are beautifully decorated , clean and warm. The staff without exceptions were all friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the service excellent. I have nothing bad to say and would highly recommend."

"We had a great overnight stay at The White Hart when visiting the area for a wedding. A dressing room was available to use so we didn't have to travel in our wedding outfits, but our room was ready so we were able to check in earlier. The room was small but it had all we needed. There was tea and coffee available in the room, the linen was clean and the bed comfortable. There were a few chairs and tables outside on the walkway where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine. The ensuite was also small...
