"Excellent trip. Staff were all friendly and chatty. A couple of niggles, but nothing that affected our stay. We will be back again and will stay here again to visit our daughter. Special mention to Dave, the Head concierge who we chatted to each day and was really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him. "
"The hotel is in great location, close to many entertainment venues. If travelling by car there are many parking facilities close by, however the hotel should communicate any "deals" they have with parking facilities before you arrive to allow for registration of you vehicle."
"Booked an executive suite for our wedding anniversary. Nothing wrong with the suite but myself and my husband aren’t late night partygoers so just like a few drinks, nice food and then watch a bit of tv snuggled up in bed…..however no tv in the bedroom and only a very small 2 seater sofa in the living room where the tv is so left us a bit disappointed. Also I think the old executive lounge was a lot better ambience wise. The food and drink was excellent in the lounge but I felt like we were...
"Breakfast at The Lock was lovely. Our room was very clean and had a great view of the canal. It really close to many places to eat and just next to the station. This is the second time we have stayed here. "
"Well positioned hotel- in the city centre but not noisy at all. Big comfy bed and the air conditioning was great. It was very clean and the bathroom pristine. Tea and coffee in the room- but no fridge. Didn’t try brekfast but good value to have it included for 2 for the price. Also coffee machine in lobby to use when you liked. The young woman who checked me in was really helpful and friendly. Parking£10 a day- not bad compared to other £20/30 charges elsewhere.
