"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "Communication was excellent. Easy to access with information provided. Room was immaculate. Has everything you need and the bed was really comfortable. Would stay again as felt so relaxing."

"The room was mostly clean, just the edges of the carpets needed a bit extra but this seems to be quite common in hotels. We was surprised at how big it was. It's a bit dated but was perfect for one night. The bathroom was a good size. Again needs a little tidying up in places but overall was good. Shower was very powerful. Breakfast was great. All the usual choices, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages etc, then cheese, ham, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, bagels, mini doughnuts, tea, coffee, juices....

"If you like the Bristol Vibe you’ll love this Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in and out. Trendy bar/lounge area and bedroom very nicely appointed with very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely en suite and nice toiletries and fluffy towels/ dressing gowns. Floors could have been cleaner as could Bar area. Convenient parking 5 mins walk away at Cabot Circus multi storey. "The room was nice enough - standard layout and decor as you’d expect for a hotel du vin. Bathroom nice. Corridors looked a little tired but not too bad. Bar and lounge area were ok but nothing special. Terrace is fantastic- or at least the situation is. Served our purpose very well as a place to stay to go to a party nearby. "Breakfast was excellent. I liked the safe and the fridge in the room. A couple of things about the room could be improved: 1. Add a little rubber stopper to the handle of the door into the bathroom. Very small, nearly invisible but would prevent the door banging into the bathroom wall. 2. The top left hand drawer of the little table was not very well put together and seemed in danger of falling apart when opened. This is really information for the hotel rather than for other travellers."

"The room was roomy and comfy, but there were some dusty spots on the surfaces in both the bedroom and bathroom. The cleaning staff could definitely use some more care . I was a little startled to find something curly and hairy on the bathroom counter when I checked in , but it turned out to be just an old eyelash. Additionally, the bath towels were old and stiff. On the positive side, breakfast was very good, with plenty of hot and cold, sweet and savory options to suit everyone’s preferences."
