"The staff were very welcoming and polite. There is ample parking. We stayed in a suite which was spacious, clean and had good amenities. There is a good sized swimming pool which has allocated children hours. There was a good selection at breakfast and you can also order off a menu too. The restaurant also provided a good selection for dinner. The hotel is in a good location and a short uber ride from Oxford city centre. "

"The bedrooms and halls probably needed to be refurbished 30 years ago. They certainly are long overdue a completely overhaul today. The bathroom was grimy and there was no excuse for not providing a single chair in the room. What was the point in providing even the tired dressing/table desk without one?"

"Our room was small but spotlessly clean. Whole place feels like it's been fairly recently refurbed and it's "trendy" and attractive. Staff in the pub/restaurant downstairs are lovely and - although we only had some chicken wings as we were heading out for the evening - they were delicious. We weren't aware (possibly our own fault!) that the premises are not staffed overnight and consequently there are no food or drink facilities at breakfast time, aside from the tea/coffee in the room."

"Danesfield House is a delight. The staff were all super helpful and welcoming. Dinner on the Terrace was stunning on a warm spring evening. The grounds are wonderful and I'd recommend a wander around them. And the spa facilities included in the room price was a bonus - the sauna and steam room especially.
