"Lovely area near Jesuit steps and many restaurants. About 20 graduated steps along the street name so consider lugging your luggage along those steps. Room was on main floor which was great but did lead to hearing all the comings and goings ( and conversations) of the guesthouse. Wasn’t too bad and didn’t impact sleeping "

"I cannot say enough, good things about our stay here. We rented the one-bedroom apartment, which was lovely, clean, affordable, and in a perfect location to the old city of Dubrovnik. It had the best restaurant onsite ( and included breakfast) with a gorgeous view. The staff especially Jelena were welcoming, kind and went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. The only bad part of our stay here was that we had to leave. "

"The owner Nikola is very friendly and caring person. She likes to take care of her customers. The location is excellent. It is clean. Service is excellent. Expedia should be explicit on their web site that they don’t accept credit cards. You have to pay in cash. I didn’t know that until she mentioned me at the check in, that she had sent me an email few days before our stay, which I didn’t read the email completely. So it was a surprise for us. "

"We loved out stay in Villa Lanterna. Its about 15 mins from the downtown/old town area of Dubrovnik which was perfect for us. They had a lovely pool to cool down in and was a two min walk away from a local beach. The front desk staff were so lovely. Igor carried both of our bags up for us which was impressive and so helpful after a day of traveling and was joking with us upon arrival. "A last minute trip change landed me in Dubrovnik and I couldn’t be happier. What a magical place, and my stay at Roko was a nice complement to my time there. The location couldn’t have been better to explore the Old City, access the port for trips out to Lukrom, etc. The caretaker was kind and efficient and, has been mentioned by others, the convenience of the discounted restaurant downstairs was a nice perk.
