"The Breakfast and lunch buffets were pretty good. I you wanted dinner reservations you would have to make them before you checked in. Most nights I was stuck eating at the bar because I was unable to get a seat until 8:30 or 9pm. As for the bars, They need to hire someone who knows how to stock a bar. One bar might have the alcohol for a drink but they wouldn't have the mixer or vice versa. There were times when a person asked for 3 or 4 different drinks and the bartender couldn't make them for this reason. This is doing a great disservice to the bartender and affecting their tips. Needless to say that I won't be returning to this resort and I will caution anyone thinking of going there."

"I wanted to love this resort but it fell short on several occasions. Some of the staff were rude or looked irritated when you asked them something. The front desk clerk, Raygenald, was amazing. He was always helpful and tried to accommodate to the best of his ability. We did not get the double queen we requested. And while there, we saw many people with the same issue. Requested a double queen but had a king bed. The dehumidifier was helpful but we had to empty it ourselves up to three times a day. The restaurant are amazing and the beach front was impressive. I would most definitely go back to Aruba, but not sure about the Divi."

"The Barcelo is a very nice hotel however, it is outdated. The sliding doors on the closet did not slide easily and one was very hard to move. The pool is beautiful but, a lot of tiles were missing around the perimeter. The staff were very nice. The rooms were kept clean. The breakfast buffet was good. We enjoyed watching the birds and iguanas while eating breakfast outside. "
