"Very convenient location. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Jocelyn and Diego provided excellent local insight to excursions, routes, and more. Excellent breakfast included - full of flavor. Inviting, cozy, and comfortable common spaces which encouraged us to meet other travelers. Comfortable bed and room. Be mindful that any location in Monteverde is (obviously) on a mountain, in the cloud forest, and in-town. So, it's generally a windy and sometimes rainy...

"Breakfast was wonderful and fresh. staff were so friendly and helpful. They help set up excursions. The owner was so kind and helpful. He pointed out wildlife that you could see around the property. family friendly. It is a little bit away from the town but we liked being more in nature. the stars were so bright and the sunset was beautiful. I'd stay there again!"

"Here’s a sharper complaint:
> This property is a family-run B&B, not a 4-star hotel. With only 6 rooms, the experience was far below what was advertised and what the Expedia/Google listings led us to expect. Our room had an extremely loud creaking floor, which made it feel cheap and poorly maintained. It may be acceptable for some travelers, but for the price, it was not worth it and definitely not the upscale stay we were looking for.

"My family's stay at Nafre House over the winter holiday was wonderful. The bed and breakfast is a perfect location for anyone visiting the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and the surrounding area, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the staff were unfailingly gracious and helpful, in both English and our attempts at Spanish. They even brought us a New Year's Eve gift. We would recommend Nafre House to anyone visiting this beautiful area. "
