"We had a great stay at Valle Escondido. Our room was very clean and the view was great. We got to see a lot of wildlife right by the building we were in because the resort was less busy in the rainy season, and we got lucky with the weather. We really enjoyed our night hike on the trails on the property - only wish it were longer! Overall, a great stay. Food was good although variety is a bit limited in the off season."

"There was construction on and in the building...in the middle of afternoon they started to jackhammer in the adjacent room and it went on for an hour. Staff was not helpful and nothing was offered in exchange to the disturbance Checking out there was a 260$ charge from someone on the billing they took it off when I complaint. "Our cabin was a small basic cabin with a kitchenette. The grounds were maintained well and there were some trails to walk. The property was in a gated area and a little removed from the road but we still could hear the road at times. We found a roach in the bathroom and some tiny ants on the kitchen table when we first got in our room."
