"This hotel is very nice and has a studio"esque" about the rooms, every component of the hotel is extremely clean and very new. The reception staff have poor English but are very helpful. The hotel pool is based within the courtyard of rooms and is too very nice. "Absolutely disgusting place. Unhygienic and unsafe for a child/ any family. It instantly smelt of rats and it was clear the apartment had not been cleaned. Multiple dead animals were found, including cockroaches in the shower. The utensil cupboard, which smelt horrendous, was clear that rats were living in there as multiple rat droppings would appear daily. "Great location, right on the beach walk, only a 5 min walk to the icon mall and right beside the turtle conservation centre where you can release a turtle back into the wild for a small donation. Breakfast was good, just enough to get you up and going for the day. Pool was large and a great place to spend the hot days, staff are always helpful. We stayed in a suite which was more than plenty of room for a couple, there’s a massage centre at the hotel which provided a great relaxing getaway from the hot days. We would stay here again if we were to stay in Sanur."

"Clean and good size room , I had 2 double bed room for myself and my teenage grandkids. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed, great buffet breakfast with variety. Hard Rock Hotel is a family friendly my grandkids love it, there’s also something to do everyday. We travel as family and it’s was 9 of us. Thank you Hard Hotel Bali we had a great trip and a memorable one. Highly recommended."

"Some staff is really helpful while some can test your patience. I asked 1 of the receptionist to get me a towel as I was going into pool. She did not do anything until I went in, came back and asked her where's the towel. Then she sent someone. Her effort for this and other day for trying to my find something I left a day before was also pathetic. I explained everything, showed the photo. Yet after I got another call asking about same thing. Funny enough they never got back to me about it. When I enquired afterwards, then they said they couldn't find it. Now there were other staff members who were really helpful but some just weren't. Also, the pool was dirty."

"We had a wonderful stay at Samatra and would definitely return! The staff were incredibly friendly and so kind and accommodating whenever we had a request. The layout was a little different than we expected regarding the kitchen—it isn’t a full kitchen, as it only includes a fridge and a sink without a cooking stove. Also, the bathtub is located outside, so we primarily stuck to using the indoor shower. However, the surrounding nature and wildlife made it completely worth it. The views are absolutely beautiful! We loved waking up to kites flying, birds chirping, and even little lizards crawling around the room. My daughter was absolutely thrilled with all the animals, reptiles, and bugs. It was such a cute and memorable experience for her!"
