"Palazzo Gambirasi is an absolute gem in the heart of Centro Storico. I normally go for branded hotels but found this by chance and couldn’t have been happier. Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and a wonderful Rome vibe. Just walk out the door and you’re surrounded by restaurants and within easy walking distance to many classic sites. The room was clean and charming with an exposed rustic wood ceiling. I will definitely return."

We are allowed to leave our bags while we continued our sightseeing for the day and that was a great perk. The location was excellent to places that you could walk within a mile or two. They also helped us arrange a drop off to the cruise port that literally took us (and all our luggage for a total of 3 weeks in Europe) to just a few steps away from the entrance to the cruise ship. "First off, I didn’t realize what a “Guesthouse” was in Rome. My bad. The entry is difficult to find, and if the driver hadn’t shown us the door we would have walked right by. You then enter a code to enter a dark, dirty hallway to a rickety elevator. Our room was very small, and there wasn’t anywhere to eat the quite good breakfast they deliver. "The staff were amazing and helpful, shout out to Maya, Rosa, and Sergio who made the stay so pleasant. Clean space, secure, and well maintained. They brought a special birthday message and treat for me. The balcony was nice overlooking the river especially in the morning and at night. "The rooms were nice but the check in press was confusing. No one was a the reception desk when we got there and another guest got us in where we had the cleaning lady check us in. It was coordinating via WhatsApp with the manager after that for check in etc. We did enjoy the apartment and the location was good. Just lacking a few utensils and amenities like body lotion but we liked it."
