"This was my second time staying at Geronimo’s guest house and if I come back to Lisbon, I will absolutely stay again. The guest house feels like a home away from home. The room was incredibly spacious, the bed super comfortable, and great shower. Lots of closet space for an extended stay. I was here for a work conference and it was perfect. Right next to the bus/tram stop and could walk to Pastel de Belem in the morning for a nata without the crowds :)"

"Very unique place!"

"Unique location! The location was next to the palace and also next to the most famous bakery in Lisbon Pasties de Belem. Staff were really helpful with clear guidance & the room was very clean. The hotel is in a crowded place, so it is naturally more noisy. If you are a light sleeper, have some sort of noise cancelling devices ( white noise machine, earbuds) with you. I recommend and I’ll go back."

"The original building is stunning and a walk into the past. It is filled with antiques and other beautiful ornamentation. However, The new wing of the hotel where most guests stay , is now 25 years old. It is in need of refurbishment. Still, the rooms are large, clean, with lovely traditional furnishings. "Clean facilities, overall appointment of the suite was nice. The twin bed was a joke, totally uncomfortable. You can expect a lot of foot traffic inside because it’s a communal living space. The doors are exceptionally heavy, so be prepared for door slamming. There is no deadbolt lock on the door or ability to lock it from inside. This did not sit well with me as a solo traveler. The location was not so great. You’ve got a good hoof to get anywhere. In the sweltering heat this was terrible."

"The room was clean and tidy, it was small but perfect for what we needed which was a comfy and clean bed to sleep in. Sharing a bathroom was not bad at all, we only shared with one other room. We never saw them even use the bathroom. It was extremely clean for being a shared bathroom. The shower was small but to be expected. Overall our stay was great! Easy to check in and located in a quiet and safe neighborhood walking distance from Belem."
