"There was no staff on the property which was good and bad I guess. The parking is tight so if you have larger vehicle it might not always work. We stayed in the cottage across the street and as much as we loved the privacy. There was a few things about it that might need to be addressed. The flooring is broken and coming up, there was termite dropping and roaches, one of the gates you could not open from the inside only the outside and the shower head was all clogged up. It could be a really neat addition to the place but it needs some TLC."

"Our stay at La Concha Key West was amazing. The location is within walking distance to all of the major attractions. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The entire staff was knowledgeable, accommodating, and went above and beyond to meet our requests and needs. We stayed three nights including our 52nd anniversary. When we arrived at our room an anniversary welcoming gift was waiting for us. This gesture was above and beyond any expectations we may have had. This hotel and amazing staff made our stay absolutely amazing!"

"This is the third time to stay at the Weather Station. We like the rooms, the location and the ability to park our car without additional fees. The history of the building and the area is important to us. Check in was terrible - they gave our reservation to a person with the same last name that didn’t even have a reservation for that day. Had to wait a long time for them to figure it out! Room definitely needed a deep cleaning especially the bathroom. Breakfast was charming and sufficient. Always a good part of the stay. Hostess on Monday was unknowledgeable about the area and no help. A knowledgable and gracious host was always available during previous stays. Host on Tuesday and Wednesday was much better. Thought we’d get a written apology or at least a small “benefit” for the inconvenience but we didn’t… The other party got a credit of $75!!! Go figure!!!"

"The property was well maintained. The courtyard and pool area felt like your own secluded oasis. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed watching the lizards on the property. Centrally located so you could walk to historic sites and restaurants. It was 4th of July, so it was hot and humid outside, but the room could have used a bigger ac window unit. The bed and pillows were too firm for our liking. Nose levels inside the property were minimum, but it is a block away from the fire station so there was an occasional fire truck coming by. Overall we would likely come back to the Heron house again.🙂"

"From check in to check out very accommodating and friendly. The grounds were beautiful! Beach front was great for being in Key West! Room was comfortable and clean. Restaurants were great. Best side of the Island to be on. Everything was walkable. Right at the end of Duval. So many options around. Perfect spot!"
