"The location was perfect and close to restaurants, bars etc on Duvall Street. Also excellent location for the famous Key West sunsets. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was very enjoyable. The staff at the valet parking were extremely friendly and very helpful."

"I don't know if my expectations were too high but I had always wanted to stay at this resort. I've been to Key West numerous times and have always wanted to stay here. My husband and i stayed for 4 nights late April and it really did not meet expectations. First off, we did not book the most basic room, we booked a King Balcony room and there were at least 5 other rooms less expensive. I put in the notes that we were celebrating our Babymoon and there was no mention or even congratulations or consideration which i thought was odd for a resort of this caliber. We also got a balcony room in the worst possibly building on the property, overlooking a parking lot and loud street. You would think for almost $3K for 4 nights you would get something a little nicer. Also, the room needed help. The bathroom was dirty and the draws in the sink vanity were visibly broken. The light in the fan would randomly turn on in the middle of the night and wake me and my husband up too. Also, I tried calling the front desk for more pillows and the phones don't work so i had to go there and ask (apparently they have been having ongoing issues). Also be prepared to have to wake up at the crack of sawn to get a chair near the shores pool (closest to the beach) as by 8am there books and towels reserving every single one. Unfortunately, we never got the opportunity to sit by the pool. It's a beautiful location with lots of amenities, i just expected more for the price."

"Everything was good, except for the horrible Pillows, and no conditioner in the shower. Everything else was good. Pricey, but you are paying for an excellent location. Had to park the car a quarter mile away, but managed to find a free spot which was good for our 3 days there. Staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Great location, parking it’s not warranty and it’s not disclosed, the rooms are not sound proofed and you will hear music until 3am and very early the roasters. The windows lack of curtains and the blinds are not covered "

"Really interesting old property in the heart of Key West. Every room is different; evidently these cabins were housing for the workers of a cigar factory back in the day. Lovely garden pathways between the rooms, four different little swimming pools scattered around the cabins with one large "main" pool at the main courtyard/breakfast area. It felt private and intimate with foliage hedges between each of the guest quarters. We had a 2nd floor room with a little living room, tiny deck and pool out front which was really neat. Super helpful and congenial staff. It's not the most affordable place I've ever stayed, but one of the most memorable. Great location, walkable to everything in the Duval area of Key West. I'd definitely go again!"
