"First off, I had no clue this was an extension of the opera house, which I’ve stayed at multiple times. Melrose hotel is probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.. quickest check-in ever, straight to the point and amazing customer service! Rooms were big and CLEAN, Bathroom was immaculate. Jordan and Zue are the absolute best! They are kind, respectful, and seem to love their job! Thanks to the both of yall for making my stay outstanding. I will definitely be back, sooner than later! "Late review but I loved this hotel and will likely be back. It’s very close to my fam. It’s clean and modern. The ladies downstairs were super attentive and didn’t eat my chicken even though it was sitting downstairs for a second lol."

"Wonderful, unique hotel- beautifully appointed, very clean, adequate fitness center, friendly staff. Great continental breakfast including a latte machine. Downsides: very comfortable bed but TERRIBLE pillows ☹️ Typical tight NYC hotel- very small bathroom with NO counterspace- had to place my toiletries on a towel on the floor. Area is not safe to walk around so keep in mind you will need to Uber everywhere. But overall I would totally stay here again!"

"Muy buen hotel, el servicio, habitaciones y limpieza de las habitaciones excelentes! Te limpian diario la habitación no como otras cadenas que te limpian cada tercer día. El personal de recepción muy amable y servicial. Por el costo es un gran hotel, el área de Harlem es un poco sucia pero segura y el metro está a una cuadra, yo fui con mi familia y niños. Todo muy bien!!! El desayuno está súper rico y de buena calidad nada que ver con los huevos en polvo de otras cadenas. Gran opción en NYC!"

"My kids and I enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, beds were comfy and breakfast hit the spot. Very short stay for us but will use again when traveling through the area."

"The deadbolt on our room door was broken and we could not get the wifi to connect. But it was very cheap and we could park for free, so in NYC that's not bad."

"Good location with subway close to getting in and out of the city. Had everything we needed in a room for 3 people but it was fairly noisy with people arriving and leaving at all times and there was no lifts so people were loud getting luggage down the stairs. The neighbourhood was fairly safe but had a fair amount of homeless people as most city’s would."
