We personally hit up False Idol (tiki bar), Maritime Museum of San Diego, USS Midway, Vistal Restaurant (inside InterContinental hotel) and The Rady Shell. "Hotel Z surpassed our expectations! The bed was so comfy, the location is perfect, and the hospitality was incredible- they offered us drinks of our choice upon arrival, and they even gave us bikes to use."

"They were able to check us in at the wee hours of the morning. Which was greatly appreciated. Though that meant we did not get the rooms we actually paid for (a view and all), but that was our choice. The only thing we did not appreciate was how loud the air-conditioning fan was. It was as if there were something lodged inside constantly banging against the vents. Pretty happy with the stay otherwise. Would recommend. Fine hospitality."

"Stay was pleasant and met our needs. Accommodations were comfortable and restaurant was excellent. Some maintenance items were visible and our shower didn’t work but was immediately fixed. A bit disappointed that some amenities were no longer provided at Embassy suites such as toiletries (shower caps, body lotion etc) or Kleenex. Coffee bar items weren’t replaced daily and had to be requested. For $699 per night was slightly lacking."

"The check in process was super straight forward informative and really easy. All the staff I interacted with were very nice. I had a balcony suite and it was a very spacious and clean room. Everything was well kept and very modern. Only 1 thing I had an issue with, which in all fairness has absolutely nothing to do with the hotel.
