"Possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I didn’t receive the check in instructions, so on arriving had to spend around an hour trying to figure things out. There are no staff at the property and the phone number on their website is incorrect. Room had no bin, no mirror or tea & coffee facilities. This is a basic. "Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. "Our apartment had the most amazing views (flat 6 at no 4 Hanover st ) and was incredibly spacious and clean. Unfortunately we hadn’t realised we would be on the top floor with no lift and have learned to perhaps check better before booking as my husband had difficulty with stairs. Fortunately the flat was so good it made up for the difficulties. Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...
