"This is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. My partner and I loved how spacious and clean everything was. Staff was amazing and friendly upon first impressions. Pool area was clean and the sun didn’t directly hit us due to the building, so you don’t have to worry about getting a tan lol. The only thing I would say I wasn’t a fan of is that there wasn’t as many options for breakfast (loved the waffles though). Overall amazing stay & would definitely stay again!!"

"My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. "Overall our 3 nights stay was good. There was one minor incident that happened where we could not get to our floor because of a maintenance issue that caused slight flooding. Nothing of ours or our room we stayed in was affected but it was an inconvenience to sit in lobby for 45 minutes."

"Pool was very dirty then next day it was not working rest of the stay. Also first day power went out we were on fifth floor no way to get downstairs and we were stuck there a few hours no air or food. Speaking of food the breakfast was awful only one hot item egg jalapeño muffin, which was nasty. Seeing I’m a senior with a bad knee the place was not close to the beach like advertising and no few of ocean front rooms. Place does not sit on Oceanfront like advertised."

"Terrific stay! The employee in the front office was extremely helpful. I was allowed to leave my suitcase with him since I got in extremely early. We also were allowed to use the pool before checking and given towels. Check in and out was very smooth and easy. I would definitely stay here again."

"When we arrived there was no one at the desk for 10-15min. The gentleman came back and was not very friendly. The closest door in our room was broken. We could not open it to take out the iron. I had to go downstairs to have the receptionist walk me to another room to take out iron and ironing board. When we went to dinner and came back there was absolutely no parking. We along with many others had to park in the fire lane. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We would not rent here...
