"The building looks lovely from the outside, however there was some niggling problems, no staff to meet and greet or issue keys and rooms, just email instructions to use door key fob for access to the building and rooms, quite steep stairs especially for us who struggle with stairs, in my room, the toilet seat was loose to sit on, single bed wasn't very comfortable and duvet barely covered the bed"

"Excellent and would highly recommend stay, food and junior suite with hot tub. Areas of improvement: Old plumbing pipes by the hot tub in room 24 fires off unpleasant scents here and there and staff could be a bit more friendly and approachable."

"Stopped here for a couple of nights for work. The room was a decent size with a big bed and everything was clean The shower pressure was really poor but nothing you cant work around Breakfast and the evening meals were really good and the benefit of the pub on the front was nice for a chilled evening"

Breakfast was better than going to a restaurant- fresh and hot, many choices and we were served in our room in total comfort. Alice most accommodating, very sweet and full of local information. "エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked.
