"We had a two night stay for my husbands 50th birthday and had a great time. The staff were all extremely polite and friendly. The hotel was very clean and beautifully presented. Excellent breakfast and fantastic location with plenty of parking. We will definitely be going back."

"Breakfast service was a little chaotic due to the numbers of residents eating in one sitting, with only 3 members of staff on duty. The selection and quality of food however was very good. The staff are always busy but extremely approachable and will always help if there is an issue. The rooms are clean, a little basic but comfortable. The swimming pool is very good and a huge asset to the hotel. The hotel is ideally suited for walking into the town of Lyndhurst, just a few minutes walk away....

"Upon entering, the room smelt strongly of mould and damp. There was mould all over the bedroom window and the smell also came from the bathroom. The bathroom door latch didn't work, so the door didn't stay closed. The bathroom extractor fan is caked with dust, the bath looks like it hadn't been cleaned, the panel looks incomplete and the grouting is mouldy in the shower. "This is a 15th Century building with the stable block converted into accommodation. The room we occupied was very large with all the usual amenities, pristine clean with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast menu was comprehensive as was the dinner menu. My only suggestion is that a help yourself coffee and tea facility would enhance its facilities.Excellent hotel at the price."

"I was incredibly impressed with this hotel. The value for money was excellent. I booked a family room for five of us (3 kids) - which in itself is unusual to be able to fit 5 in one room! - when we were visiting Paulton Park. I didn’t do much research and we were all very pleasantly surprised with how good it was.. the family friendly welcome, facilities, and amenities were great.
