"“Old style” Hotel, right in the middle of town, so much to do and see. Great restaurants right next to the hotel, I chose to park across the street, in the public parking structure, easy in and out. The room was basic but clean, very small tv, clean sheets, bathroom was small but clean and nice. No complaints at all, it’s priced right, for what you get, in this area. "

"We feel like a guests at the Victorian Inn. The staff are welcoming and we love the cheese and wine time. It’s the perfect snack before we head out for the evening after a day of exploring Monterey and Carmel. The breakfast is fantastic! "We only had a one night stay while on the road but found this place to be excellent. Rooms were large and comfy. The young man at check in was very friendly and helpful. "This was a sweet little hidden gem near Monterey! The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. It's near everything but away from the crowds. The staff was great and super helpful. (Every hotel needs an Emerson. He's the best!) Bring snacks or be ready for a little drive for more food options, but it's not too bad. Don't miss the Monterey Bay Eco Tours tour of the Elkhorn Slough! It's nearby, and a fun educational experience for the whole family. We'll be back and stay again. Cheers!"
