Hotel dekat New Morning

"Pro: This is a small quaint hotel. Very Peruvian. Small but wonderful. Great helpful staff. Loved our time at the hotel. Outside the hotel is a different story. Con: I visit Paris every year for work. I can see a change. Paris is being overwhelmed with Ivory Coast folks. Arguing street gangs, sidewalk vendors, homeless, pickpockets (two separate groups), metro stations line jumping etc. I had to female friends who were ogled, again Ivory Coast people. Very uncomfortable anywhere in this area....

"Found that locker storage was all used when we were counting on it. Although the washer/dryer looked updated, it did not dry well at all compared to what we were used to. It would take 3 hours for a small load and it still would not be dry. Some instructions would have been nice. Looked up on internet and that wasn’t helpful enough. "This hotel was better than expected. It was clean, the staff were attentive and it was close to public transportation. It was a great location with tons of restaurants around. We will use this hotel again should we come back to Paris. Tanya & Miranda at reception were especially helpful and Abdou in the restaurant worked so hard. He made our mornings. The only interesting observation was that there was only 1 iron to share with the whole hotel."

"This is a nice hotel in a really good location. Gare Du Nord is about a ten minute walk away and Gare Du L’est is across the road. There’s also a train entrance directly outside the hotel. I walked to the Louvre Museum in half an hour and many other locations. There’s also many restaurants and fast food places and a supermarket across the road too. It’s a good place to stay but my only small criticism is the shower and bathroom which is quite small (perhaps because I was in a single room?)....

"Great location connected to three metro stations. Lots of restaurants in the area. Spacious rooms especially by Paris standards. Nice amenities in the room. Great breakfast as well."
