"The room was very tiny but for one person and one night it did its job. It was a bit annoying being in the 6th floor with a lot of heavy luggage as there were a few stairs to navigate and the lift was slow. The AC worked great and the duvet and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly."

The double bed sheet was very creased and had body fluid stains in the middle of the bed. The sofa bed also was dirty. "Excellent location if arriving by train at Kings Cross but also very quiet inside the hotel. The rooms and furnishings are beautiful and the breakfast room is a delight as was the food itself. The hotel does have an unusual layout though, some of the side lounges look lovely but aren’t very accessible, I’d have liked to see drinks served in those areas from the posh cocktail bar but it didn’t seem to be open: maybe you can but nobody told us?
