"From check in to check out, our 3 night weekend stay at the Ruskin was perfect. All staff were really friendly and very helpful. All food and drink provided, breakfast and bar snacks were delicious with great choices and again served "with friendly and genuine smiles". The standard twin room was perfectly adequate, with all you need and comfortable mattresses for great sleeps too. Efficient lifts to our second floor room. Will hopefully be returning, maybe even later this year. Highly recommend...

"There’s no on‑site parking for overnight stays, but the car park is just around the corner and only a few minutes’ walk away. The guest house is close to everything, with a small Morrisons conveniently located at the end of the road. The couple who run the guest house were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and had everything we needed — soap, shampoo, towels, tea and coffee. I would stay again, though I’d request a lower floor next time. I paid £80 for one night for...

"Had a lovely clean en-suite room overlooking the sea. The staff we met with couldn’t have been more helpful. There’s parking on the front of the hotel but if it’s full there are 3 long stay car parks bang next door. We were in Blackpool to go to The Opera House/Winter Gardens and this was ideal as it was only 10-15mins walk ( all nice and flat) to get there. The hotel bar was open 24hrs which as we arrived back quite late was nice to sit and chill before heading off to our room. If/when next in...

"Room is small, was pleased to have view of the pier, until I tried opening the weird single glazed patio door thing. The whole thing almost fell out of its fittings. Blood stains on the mattress, long dark hair in the bed. Dried mud over the carpet. Masking tape to stick the wrongly sized curtain (too small) to the wall to stop light coming through. Thankfully hadn’t booked a breakfast. I understand it is continental only and not a cooked one. Best thing about the venue is the location."

"The Imperial Hotel is a beautiful building with plenty of character and charm from years gone by. However, it is now in need of some upgrades and refurbishment. Our room was a good size, but it felt quite tired and dated nice sea from our room,On the positive side, the breakfast was very good, and the bar was a lovely place to relax. With a little modernisation, this hotel could truly return to its former glory."
