Beachside Resort Panama City Beach

"They now charge a parking fee which is not listed. The front desk worker when we arrived was not friendly at all we did arrive early and she asked for our number in case they got some rooms cleaned but we never got a call like we usually do. The worker that checked us in was friendly and helpful. This is the fifth stay we have had here but won’t go back. The room was way outdated. The shower couldn’t be turned off when u turned it so far it went back from hot to cold vice versa but not off just kept spinning"

"From check in to check out the customer service was extremely wonderful. At the time of check in there was a man who wasn't friendly to the front desk clerk Anthony but that didn't stop Anthony from doing his job or being polite to him or anyone else. Great job Anthony! Wonderful place ill definitely be booking my next stay here also. The view of the ocean every morning was breathtaking. Thank you for a wonderful vacation"

"This place gets a bad wrap, but I found it lovely. Clean room, friendly staff, on the beach, 1/4 the price of anywhere else. Will stay again."

Boardwalk Beach Hotel

"Loved the tides rooms. I suggest getting a bottom floor oceanside. Was able to go out the balcony back door and go straight down to the beach and pool. The rooms were nice. Only thing I have to complain about is the beds were not very comfortable. You figured they would be for the amount of money it cost."

"Not what you expecting from photo on expedia. Friendly stuff, but old building. Pool is ok, but the food on pool area is not good at all, for that price. Ocean is beautiful, but the hotel will charge you up for umbrella and for recliner. Not so bad but for that price you can get more comfortable place."

Chateau Beachfront Hotel, A By The Sea Resort

"Our room looked nothing like the pictures shown. It was in horrible shape and in need of massive updating and improvements and could have been cleaner. I would not walk barefoot at all during my stay. The toilet was not even stable and sunk every time used. The old floor has many sunken spots throughout the room. The tub was probably the original from when it was built decades ago and needs molding on the floor, as there was a gap between the tub and floor. I was greatly disappointed that we were staying in a dive for the amount of money spent. I knew it was an older hotel, but the rooms looked good in the pictures, not at all what our room looked like. I would never recommend this hotel, and I live locally an hour away in a beach town. The only positive is the pool area was kept up and the access to The Gulf."

"It was okay but over priced and the private beach had a lot of restrictions including you having to make reservations for an additional fee to get seating at the beach! Beach was walking distance not right behind the resort"

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so future guests can make informed decisions. Upon arrival, the first room assigned to me had a strong urine odor and cleanliness issues that made me uncomfortable staying there. I immediately reported the concerns to the front desk, and to their credit, they moved me to another room. Unfortunately, the second room also appeared unclean and did not meet the standard I expected based on the property’s listing and reviews. I documented the conditions with photographs and contacted Hotels.com while on-site. Hotels.com opened a case, reviewed the evidence, and attempted to work with the property regarding my concerns. Because the issues were not adequately resolved, I made the difficult decision to check out early and disrupt my vacation plans in order to find alternate accommodations. What has been most disappointing is not simply the condition of the rooms, but the lack of follow-up afterward. Despite being advised that my refund request would be reviewed and that I would receive an update, I have yet to receive a resolution. I understand that no hotel is perfect and that issues can occur. What matters is how those issues are addressed. In this case, I did not feel that the condition of the rooms or the subsequent handling of the complaint reflected the level of customer service guests should expect. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves."
