"We stayed for a concert in Charlotte. I would say the receptionist was brief and hurried. Only told us about what time breakfast was. My card declined because I answered questions caring on pin pad, and she very loudly announced to the whole lobby that it was declined. I reinserted and it was fine. I work at a 5 star resort. This is not how we do things "

"Reserved a room in advance and with no prior warning, I arrived to the location and was told they were "sold out" of rooms even though I paid and Reserved my room in advance. The lady at the desk told me she called me and canceled my reservation but that was a lie and I did not receive a phone call and my reservation did not show up at canceled at any point even now a day later it does not show as canceled. Every other hotel around was completely sold out so I had to drive to a different city to get a room double the price. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone because they should not allow you to reserve a room only for them to tell you upon arrival they don't have one for you. The front desk is also shut off with metal shutters which I can tell she was hiding behind just to not have to talk to disappointed guests. They make you talk to them through a phone right beside the shut off front desk while they're hiding behind it which is really unusual."

"Ran in to a small hiccup when we arrived late night for check-in , Brittany literally got in her car and drove to location to help us at 11 pm and served with a smile . We unfortunately had to move rooms next morning due to an appliance situation ( no one's fault ) again here comes Brittany serving with a smile . We get settled they checked on us to make sure everything was ok and it was . We stayed for 8 nights and every single worker we encountered from the front desk to back of the house greeted us with a smile and a “ Good morning/ afternoon etc… we celebrated Easter during our stay it was so nice to be able to still cook my usual feast on their full sz appliances ( literally everything I make at home ) and invite our local family members to come celebrate with us . You can’t get any of this at a regular hotel . It literally was like a home away from home . We were 7 mins from shopping / restaurants and 15 mins from Concord mall ( ( huge mall/outlet stores we were their for hours and still didn’t see entire mall )) Any future trips we plan to visit our daughter and other family WILL be staying at the Charlotte North location . Check it out it’s worth your dollar . Not to mention our whole entire week costed the same amount we would have been charged for a 3 or 4 nights had we chose to stay at a regular hotel . That full kitchen saved a bundle on food . Def worth it . Just ask for Brittany tell her that her new travel friend from New York sent you !!!!! Enjoy :)"

"The Hilton Garden Inn asd it's staff were amazing. They are currently renovating the property and it is looking amazing. The GM, Steven, was outstanding as well. He upgraded our room to a top floor, freshly renovated, room at no charge. I highly recommend this hotel."
