"Was great!"

"We enjoy staying at this hotel when over for appointments. The pros: front desk staff are super friendly, the restaurant is good, and rooms are clean. The cons: a few maintenance things this time around (strobing bulb in lamp, bathroom door that wouldn’t close or lock, an outlet that wouldn’t work). Parking spots are very tight (we saw one car make six attempts at parking). Will stay again, as it’s usually fairly good value for a Halifax hotel."

"The pool area needs a little refresh and we found the water cold also no towels ( but was March break , busy pool , they can only fresh them so much ) Room was great , except tub filled up when showering , did let them know on check out The food was great , supper was delicious and the server was awesome , my son felt very special and spoiled Breakfast was included and a really great spread , hot items in addition to the basics Overall great experience for a great price They had a cutest pet contest going on and my kids loved casting their vote and seeing the pictures of the staffs fur babies "

"Very clean space. Friendly staff. Free wifi. But there was a hockey tournament, so there were alot of loud boys running around and causing alot of noise. But kids will be kids. Staff were understand and tried to accomodate us - we had two young kids and we were below a room that sounded as if the kids were jumping off a bed over and over lol"

"Lord nelson was great. Very accommodating when my flight was cancelled. Also provided me with all the bottled water i could drink. Great location too! I would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a great stay! The hotel was clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. It is in a good location, about a five-minute car ride to the Alderney Ferry Terminal. It is also very close to an Atlantic Superstore for our last minute needs. Would stay here again!"
