"I highly recommend this Ryokan for a traditional Japanese experience. The room was spacious, comfortable and I loved the tatami mat! The kaiseki and traditional breakfast meal were exceptional, with beautifully plated dishes. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The onsen was a wonderful place to unwind, with three options available - be sure to book in advance to secure a private timeslot. The nearby antique museum is also worth exploring if you have some free time. Overall, I had a fantastic and relaxing stay at this Ryokan, which provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city."

"Great staff. Awesome touch to have free ice cream at the main lobby. Private onsen on the balcony of the room with a stunning view was breathtaking and helpful given my partner has tattoos and can't use public onsen. Best breakfast buffet with many options that ive been to."

"A real luxury stay in the mountains of Odawara. Best part of our 14 day trip to Japan so far. The breakfast buffé and the dinner buffé was great, not excellent but compared to other Japaneese hotels I stayed in on other trips this one beats them all. The Onsen and the pool area was also a really nice plus. The hotel rents out swimshirts if your travelcompanion have tattoos, costs 1100 Yen."

"It’s located just a one-minute walk from the train station and overlooks the river. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The facilities are extremely clean and very quiet. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of choices."

"Very comfortable spacious room. Love the private deep soaker tub on the balcony with a view on trees and plants, very relaxing. The free self-serve bar with varied choices of alcoolic and non-alcoolic drinks was also a unique feature that was an nice bonus."
