"We arrived around 6pm and was told that the Car park was full (only 13 spaces) and we had to park in a public car park around the corner of the hotel which was free parking overnight until 9am. The bar and restaurant area was very pleasant and received a nice welcome from the bar staff, once we had our key (No6) we made our way to our room, this was a bit challenging as it meant walking up stairs as there was no lift being an old building, I sure we climbed around 40 steps going up/down and...

"It was lovely and cosy and staff were very welcoming. Loved the bar and my food was delicious. Negative - not sure water glasses were clean as there was water in them. Soon put right when I asked for a clean one from the bar."

"Although my room was small it had everything you could need for a stay. The choices for breakfast were poor. I have a sulphite intolerance so I couldn’t have anything with grape based products in. Many of the cereals were therefore out for me and the rest were more for children. No fresh fruit apart from a fruit salad which also has grapes in it. All the staff were great and very helpful. Drinks in the bar a bit overpriced but plenty of choice. Generally we enjoyed our stay."

" Valeria was an excellent host. This place was nice and met my expectations. The breakfast each morning was superb and plentiful. Everything from a continental breakfast to a full English breakfast- wonderful. The location was a 2 min walk to the train/bus station; perfect for our arrival and pick up for bus tour to Stonehenge. And the Cathedral w/ a viewing of the Magna Carta was walking distance (abt 9 mins) from the Caboose; very nice location indeed. "
