Well located and easy to access to the rest of the city thanks to its proximity to the metro station. There are also a lot of places to eat around the hotel, either for breakfast or lunch/dinner.
The rooms were very correct, and the public bath welcoming.
The location of the property was great and the staff were lovely and very helpful. However the beds were rock hard and the air conditioning unit only slightly worked.
Rooms and onsen are clean. Some staff are helpful but some aren’t.

Very convenient location and the bed was quite big for a single person which is nice. The room is on the smaller side but you’re still able to open the luggage on the floor. Only thing I would say is the bed and pillows weren’t that comfy by
Great new hotel with great service, clean, great amenities and walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping and main areas of Shambashi and Dotonbori
The room was nice and comfortable, everything was clean and immaculate. The location was convenient, close to subway stations, and a good walking distance from the sights.
Pros: location, clean, check-in and check-out fast and easy, great rain shower and water pressure
Con: room small
Overall would recommend. Great value.
Good location, comfortable room. Arrived 40 minutes early and was told we had to pay to check in early. Couldn’t access the onsen but reception was too busy to get help.
The Granbell Hotel is an easy walkable distance from Osaka station. All amenities are within easy reach. Dotonburi District is a walkable distance for those who like to walk. Otherwise, you can hop in a tram from Osaka Stn. A good hotel to base you stay in Osaka.
As a foreigner with tattoos I really liked the onsen. I spoke with the front desk staff beforehand and said if it was disrespectful that I wouldn't go, but they assured me it was okay. The onsen was clean, hot and very quiet. I saw probably 1 other person max at a time using it while I was there.
Breakfast buffet was really good. Dinner was ok, I'd probably recommend going to one of the many restaurants nearby for a more authentic experience.
Room was on the small side but we knew when we booked it. The hotel was welcoming and clean. A little bit away from Dotomburi but it is perfect if you want a bit of quiet! The shopping street is really close as well as the metro. We enjoyed the onsen and access to laundry. Quite a few coffee shops in the area and a restaurant on site.
Very clean and modern hotel. Location is amazing! Quiet street at night, but only about a 15 minute walk to the lively dotonbori area. Its only a 5 minute walk to two subway lines which include the midosuji line for easy skinkansen train transfers at skin-osaka station. (If you are arriving to Osaka by train) Rooftop bar was a cool place to hangout after a long day sightseeing, with reasonably priced cocktails. Breakfast is available for a fee, theres even a pool area, a restaurant and several vending machines. Staff were polite and helpful. Big thanks to the older gentleman at the reception who helped forward our luggage via the yamata service to our next hotel.
