My stay was perfect. 14 mins walking distance to Universal. The cafe staff were amazing! The older gentleman at the door was the best! So helpful and friendly .

Great location for USJ!!!

Stayed here as had a 1.5 day ticket to USJ. It took me 15 mins to walk there so is ideal. The hotel also offers an amenities drawer where you can get bath soaks, toothbrushes etc and as well as having a water machine and microwave has an ice machine which saves you a small fortune (it was super hot when I went so wanted ice all the time). Staff were pleasant in my interactions with them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here again (esp as it was far cheaper than other hotels in the area)

This hotel was the perfect location for our trip to Universal Japan & the Osaka Aquarium. We are a family of 4 & the 4 single bed room was perfect for us. The hotel staff was helpful as well in terms of holding our bags before and after check in/out and arranging a taxi to the airport for us. It’s conveniently located by the train station, walkable to Universal Japan, and a free ferry ride away from the aquarium and Ferris wheel, and it’s between a Lawson’s and 7-11!!! This is a great place for families!

I loved the place! We were provided with personal necessities (pj's, slippers, snacks, etc). Considering that we were visiting and only had a backpack, having that for us was perfect.

We stayed for one night for universal. Very easy to walk to station and universal. 7 eleven and lawson are very close. Staff very helpful and friendly. Motel feels with great breakfast options. Beds a bit hard, pillows are very soft and small bathroom/shower.Overall a great stay. 👍

Huge room and great staff

Staff were super helpful at check in, I was a bit early so I asked if I could wait in the lobby until check in time and they ended up getting the room ready and letting me check in early, which was very kind of them and definitely not expected/required. Room was massive and had a dedicated Aircon unit (not the hotel-wide systems a lot of hotels here have). Bath and toilet are in separate rooms. Everything seems pretty clean and comfy. Thank you for a great stay!

Conveniently located 2 minutes walk away from Sakurajima station and 10 minutes from Universal Studios Japan. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately because it's located so close to the station we had train noise late into the night. The overall condition of the hotel was shabby with many stains on the flooring. Breakfast had lots of variety of both traditional and continental options. We wouldn't stay here again due to the conditions and noise.

This is about a ten minutes walk from Universal Japan. The floor I stayed on had a space theme (might be different for other floors). Overall it was a good experience and it helps that there is a 7-11 literally a few meters away from the entrance.

Decent hotel near Universal but no food options.

Pros: VERY close to Universal Studios (Very short walk.) Friendly staff Cons: EXTREMELY uncomfortable beds! We were given a kids themed room with ladybug theme. No food options anywhere near hotel other than convenient style food.

Good hotel for the price. Much cheaper than the surrounding hotels around Universal Studios Japan. Walk to the theme park was a little longer than expected, but completely manageable. Room was a little run down with peeling wall paper and semi musty carpets in the halls, but otherwise a pretty clean room. Tons of free toiletries in the lobby. Only a 5-8 minute walk from the train station. Biggest perk was the 7-11 and Lawson stores right next to the hotel.

Good location in terms of Universal studios - a bit of a hike to the front gate, like ~15 min walk with kids. Surrounds are not very interesting and there isn’t much else there. We walked / took the free ferry over to the area around the aquarium which we and our kids enjoyed but it does take a while. The hotel is very good and the themed rooms are a bit of fun. One of the 4 single beds in our room was quite noisy and the breakfast options for westerners wasn’t fantastic (although the kids might disagree with this statement as there was ice cream and coke available 😆). Overall a good choice for a universal trip.

Some nice amenities but not a desirable location

Hotel is close to Universal Studios but not much else. Takes at least 40 minutes to visit any place in Osaka that is not Universal related. We stayed 4 nights and the air conditioning only worked 2 of those nights (and it was not 2 nights in a row). We arrived on big a short time before check-in but staff would not even try to check us in early. Beds were a bit hard as were the pillows. The free breakfast was the best thing, and the kids loved the jungle theme of the room. English instructions for the thermostat and TV remote would also have been helpful. It was also nice that the staff did watch our luggage before check-in and after check out.
