"We went to spend the weekend and see Matt Rife at the GOCF. It was our wedding anniversary as well and The Paradox made it perfect! Housekeeping staff were detail oriented and valets were lovely. We were beyond impressed. A MUST is the Xilya Spa - the most wonderful staff and were so understanding, supportive and accommodating when I had an asthma attack mid service. BEYOND Professional and so, so kind! Our trip was perfect. We will absolutely be back for another anniversary weekend."

"I had a really nice time at the Exchange Hotel during the three days, two nights that I was attending a conference in Vancouver. Unfortunately, the first night of my stay the sound of the air conditioner was too noisy for me to sleep. The front desk has control of the A/C and room ventilation. I had to ask them to tinker with the controls to slow the air down to make it quieter so I could sleep on night two. If you’re like me and appreciate design, the Exchange Hotel’s lobby will dazzle you; it is beautiful! Each room is cosy. Fun fact: the building itself was revamped from a stock exchange to a mixed-use building by the firm Herzog and Meuron, a Swiss architectural firm. On my last afternoon, I enjoyed time in the lobby lounge which has a library ambiance. Follow my lead and pay extra to stay on the Dividend Level; guests on this floor have access to a snack lounge on the floor! There were pastries in the morning, wine & cheese in the late afternoon and a stocked refrigerator with non-alcoholic beverages. There are self check-in kiosks near the elevator at reception level. At first I didn’t think anyone would acknowledge me when I arrived but one of the staff did walk out to explain the layout in the hotel. That was very good! I did not eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot provide an opinion. Overall, a lovely hotel - very convenient for the convention center, the Sea Wall Walk and waterfront."

"Stayed for a single night prior to a cruise. Good location to the Princess Dock. Took a Rideshare, but could have walked if I were younger. Staff was helpful. Room was clean and quiet. No inhouse restaurant, but adjacent cafe for breakfast. Restaurants were plentiful."
