"We had a wonderful experience. From the start our host gave us a great overview of the property and surrounding areas. All our beach items (towels, umbrellas, ice, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs) were complimentary and much appreciated. The beach was steps away as was a small entertainment district with restaurants and bars. This is a great place for people who want an alternative to the large-scale resorts and towers. If you are looking for a super high-end luxury boutique, I do not think...

"This hotel is dangerous and dirty. I booked a room online but when I got there a group of robbers were in the parking lot smoking and looking for people to rob. I didnt check in because I was in fear for my life. I requested a refund and the hotel manager denied it although I basically just drove in and out and didn’t check in. "

"Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ...
