"Let me start by saying that the place is impressive. I was looking forward to my stay after booking. The biggest issue: the room was hot. I struggled to fall asleep on the amazingly comfortable bed due to the room being so hot. I did lower the thermostat, but the room just never cooled off. There was also cobwebs in the bathroom....I want to go back and maybe request a different room.....I wanted to give a 3 star across the board, but the property was so impressive I just couldn't go that...

"The rooms need a clean update and new paint. You can tell that deep cleaning is not done often. We had to switch rooms because they initially gave us a room where the shower curtain smelled like mildew and the comforter on the bed had a lot of stains on it. Even in the new room, the comforter seat on the bed had a lot of stains in the bed did not look clean. Also, the individual who checked us in was not friendly at all. "We were met with a friendly face at the desk when checking in and she just made the process very easy. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy. It was useful to have extra linens in the closet without having to ask. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet."

"The property was clean and had friendly staff. The parking lot is small but there is a dirt lot next to it you can also park in. It was a little disappointing they charge for parking but there isn’t room on the paved lot for all the guests so we ended up in the mud in the dirt lot. On street parking is free so it doesn’t make sense that there is a mandatory parking fee. It is walking distance to the Clinton Library and downtown Little Rock which is nice."

I really wanted to rate my stay at 5 stars but the light coming in from the cottage entrance next door did not allow me a good night's sleep.
