"Great place to stay in Coimbra. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The property is fantastic with terrific views, too. There were a couple aggressive panhandlers (beggars) near the property, but we still rate this hotel 5 stars, so we loved it."

"Staff so friendly and welcoming. Clean rooms, beautiful design of bar/lobby/restaurant as well as rooms. Breakfast buffet had many choices and was delicious food. The hotel is located immediately below the historic university buildings. Our room had a spacious balcony on a quiet courtyard (autumn). The rooftop patio offers beautiful views of the city. Staff provided a free drink upon arrival, a free glass of wine at 6pm, and brought chocolate and a bedtime story to the room in the evening. This...

"Comfy bed. Neat, tidy and clean. Fresh fruit available. Bright and spacious. A little tricky to find the first time, but this is more to do with the way google maps depicts the area (and how tired I was when trying to read the map 😉) than the directions received. "The property is in a great location for walking to the University. It was in a cool old house. We enjoyed the fun, "University" vibe of the decor. The staff was great. Emma was a particular delight--very helpful and full of useful information & recommendations. The breakfast buffet was great with many options. It was served on the top floor with nice views and an outdoor patio for nice weather days. The one thing that we would change would be the numerous, plug-in air freshener/frangrances...

"The apartment is in a historic area. Great location and walking distance to all major sites. We chose the apartment because it provided free parking, washing machine, AC and heater. Because it is in a historic site area there are NO ELEVATORS. We were up in the 4th floor. Take note of this when booking. Otherwise the apartment is great and we liked it. "
