"overall its not bad....definitely good for a family however there's a few things I would like to mention that could have an impact for others wanting to book same place.
1. It's not the holiday Inn, its two separate businesses using the same building...some floors have hotel rooms, some have appartment rooms...I haven't see the hotel rooms so I cannot comment on that however I can say it feels misleading when you head into the lobby and they have elevators that are much fancier yet they tell...

"1 street level up from the water, but still very close. Suite had a small sink and stove top. very good size room and bathroom as well. friendly and helpful staff."

"Better than we'd hoped for. Great clean room. Breakfast was perfectly executed. We actually preferred staying in Gaia and crossing the bridge for Porto excursions.
Dino at the front desk is super courteous and 100% the man for suggestions.
Would go back without hesitation."

"The overall stay was good but I just wish the check in process were better that they could have inform us a little bit earlier before we arrive or checked in. I emailed them before arrival but they reply really late. We stayed there from Sunday to Wednesday and there's a change in the gate code to get inside the building. They never informed us. They told me to email me the new code instead of just saying it directly and I waited for their email which never came. So I have to call them and ask...
