"We booked a standard room but they upgraded it to deluxe room (a nice surprise to ease our tiredness after traveling on a plane) Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, breakfast is very good, room is spacious, overall we loved our stay at East Indies Mansion. Tip: Don't forget to try the indian restaurant near the hotel (corner of lebuh pinang and lebuh china), their chicken kebab and cheese naan are delicious."

"Have a good stay in the room, value for money. The room provides the basic need and have washing machine and fridge outside the public area. Many restaurants and foods around that area. The room may need some renovation for the floor and toilet for the wear and tear. "

"Bed was comfy! Location is very convenient as there are bus stops, restaurants and convenient stores in walking distance. 1 thing tho we finished our glass bottle of water in the room but it was not refilled the next day. Probably need to request for it to be refilled. "

"The staff were warm and welcoming and helpful with ideas. The water turned off due to maintenance work and when we enquired that fixed it immediately. The room was clean, cool and comfortable. This is second time I've stayed and would come back a third time."
