"Barebones hotel that doesn’t provide daily housekeeping or fresh towels. You’ll have to request at the front desk which is never attended. They don’t have phones in the room so you can’t call the front desk and have to walk down which never has a staff attending. Staff is rude, rooms are dirty and carpets have spots. However, they charge a premium rate though provide a motel level service. Do yourself a favor and avoid staying here."

"We stayed one night at the Leonardo. We booked it for our last day/night in Edinburgh after a lovely tour of the Highlands. We booked there as it was in still close to the Royal Mile but its location made it easier easier to get a taxi to the airport after turning in our rental. 1. When we checked in we were informed our room was actually in the next building. We were told we could take the regular elevator or walk through a connected hallway on the ground level and take another elevator that served those rooms. We tried to take the first elevator. We couldn’t stop on the 4th floor where our room was. So, after several rides up and down, that opened up on other floors we got out and trekked down the “ hallway to the other elevator. The hallway was stark white. There was a grumpy man painting and it smelled terrible. We passed some restrooms and I think the smell was coming from there. It permeated the hallway. When we found the small elevator that serviced these other rooms, we made it to the "
