"Gorgeous place, we told staff it was our honeymoon and they upgraded our room and gave us a beautiful folded swan towel with fresh flowers. The resort is right next to so many amazing restaurants, 7/11 and a laundromat so we didn’t have to go far for anything. Staff was very nice and the poolside bar is amazing 👌"

"Had Room 19, it’s the closest one to the beach. Any closer would be in the water. Great stay with a perfect view. The small pool is good and there’s a huge children’s play park in the ocean for 500baht per day. The cleaners are spot on and the reception person was great. Nice restuarant on site as well. Very close to everything needed including boats to the islands and plenty of 7/11’s Would return 100%"

"Absolutely loved our stay at Secret Garden and honestly struggled to find anything to fault. We stayed in one of the poolside bungalows which was incredibly spacious, spotless and set in such a beautiful, relaxing setting. Being only around 10 minutes from the airport made transfers so easy, but once you’re there it still feels peaceful and tucked away. The food was some of the best we had during our Thailand trip and the atmosphere in the evenings was lovely too — live music, themed food...

"Do no not stay at this hotel. There was fireworks fired right outside our door and there was loud music playing until 4/5 am combined with constant traffic noise making it impossible to sleep. We stayed for one night and moved to a different hotel. When the owner found out that we where leaving, he yelled that we would not get any money back. Also when we checked in, the owner was sleeping on the ground behind a corner (there is no lobby?), surrounded by food, trash and flies, and seemed annoyed...

"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our hand towel in our room had makeup stains on it already and our bed was rock solid and very uncomfortable. We stayed in the bungalows across the road (not in the more expensive ones). I would’ve spent more money if I knew the bed was that hard."

"My day was pleasant enough. The property is right on the beach, which is a good thing. Unless you book a deluxe room, you were unable to use the pool. The property is old and dated, but the level of maintenance is reasonable. When you leave the property to go for a walk, you must take your key with you. "The photos on the web gives you the impression it’s on a hill in lush greenery, there is a hill behind it which currently has a building site on it and chickens roaming around so you won’t need your alarm clock, the actual position of the building is on the corner of the main road and a right hand turn that takes you to the airport, your in no doubt that your sat nav is correct because you have low flying aircraft coming in to land meaning the airport is at the end of that right hand turn...

"We were greatly disappointed upon arriving at Deva - our Expedia booking has stated private tub and balcony, neither of which was included in the standard room. It also stated free beach shuttle but this also did not exist. Staff spoke very minimal English so you could not ask any questions. The pool closed at 7pm, which was disappointing.
