"Clean hotel at a reasonable price close to restaurants"

"Not being properly maintained. An elevator button in the lobby was not working, with a paper sign on it. Water was constantly dripping from something in the exterior ceiling onto the concrete where you exit the lobby to the rear parking lot. There was a tear in the wallpaper in our bathroom and a chip in the tub. When we tried to check in at the front desk, nobody was there, simply a sign saying someone would eventually return. "We loved the Black Hawk Hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and clean. The location was excellent as, allowing us to walk to great restaurants, shops, and bars. We will be back!"

Called down and told them, they said they’d bring it up. Called about 10 min later to also ask for more towels, was told it would be awhile. They never brought it up. "Are room was a king sized bed and a pull out couch. The arrangement was different and the day/night was really hot. The air conditioner could not keep the room with the couch cool. The picture that was on the wall in the bathroom was off and the hardware was still on the wall. The refrigerator in the breakfast room was defrosting and there was water all over the counter. The cereal was soggy and some of the sausage was extremely overcooked."
