"The room was fine, it was clean but a little dated. The beds (2 singles) though were very uncomfortable. One had the springs poking through. On asking for a mattress topper or a different mattress, the response was that this was not possible. Mattress toppers were later added but why indicate this is not possible when it is? "We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. The area is beautiful but with only one night, we didn’t get the change to do much exploring. Next time. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay."

"It was in such a great location! We loved the pub was downstairs and served such great food and drinks! It was nice to walk upstairs and not have to worry about driving. Free parking was nice.
