"The menu was very good with a nice selection both for dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately our toilet had a leak and therefore kept filling every 5 to10 minutes. They did offer to move us but we stuck with it. Also the shaver point didn't work. "

It felt like the owners really didn’t care for their guests and didn’t want the hassle in dealing with them. "Room small for 2 people, storage minimal, no privacy when curtains opened everybody and their dog walk past and look in. Television has to be operated via your mobile phone app (ideal for tech people) not so good for others. Continental Breakfast very disappointing, misdescription of what is expected of a continental breakfast. Staff not alert had to ask for refill of coffees toast and conserves. Slow service. Not value for money, would not stay again."

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating throughout. The grounds and rooms are well maintained and food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast were prepared to a very high standard. The only thing I would mention is that there is a breakfast buffet advertised by Expedia; flagging that this is only for continental and the hot food is made to order (I imagine because it is a smaller amount of rooms than a larger property, so reduces waste and improves quality control), just to avoid any disappointment for those who prefer to choose themselves how many items/type of hot food they prefer. However, as above, the quality of the breakfast was excellent and there were plenty of options to suit all palates and a range of dietary requirements."
