"Everything about it was perfect "

"The hotel was lovely, and Linda & Des were VERY welcoming and accommodating. They have a little “shop” where you can buy toiletries, wine, drinks, crisps, snacks etc which was very convenient. The breakfasts were AMAAAAZING - lots of options! The only down side was the water was not hot and the water pressure in the shower was low."

"Lovely welcome, good room, clean and cheerful. Convenient with free parking and within walking distance of the old village. Great breakfast too!"

"Lovely hotel with fab bar area and outside seating, room was snug but had everything we needed and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful, only minor issue is that property is not wheelchair accessible, althought they are ramps getting into main entrance involves getting up quite a big step, otherwise very nice hotel "

"What a fantastic hotel. Had a lovely room overlooking the sea. Hotel was extremely clean, food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and also access to the sister hotel next door. What more A lovely place to stay in Shanklin. "

"The hotel doesn’t have a dedicated free parking space. However, you have parking in front of the hotel (on the beach road) which is a paid parking."

"Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy."

"Issues about the room Open the door - strong musky smell even with the window open. On arrival in the room I had to remove 5 spiders (each in different corners of the room) aswell as several cobwebs. Carpet had a massive stain upon entering the room which probably added to the musky smell. Room uninviting and very small for double. Décor was 1970's styled, looking incredibly dated. Bath had large scattered spots of paint so you certainly wouldn't bath in it. Can’t shave as there’s no plug in...

"Lovely warm welcome,having arrived on foot as we were walking around the island. Room newly and nicely decorated and very clean. Biscuits in room and coffee machine were nice extra touches. Excellent menu choice for breakfast . Evening meal choice also good and nicely cooked. We loved the sea view from the bedroom"
