"The housekeeping staff was extremely slow in responding to requests. Took a few hours to get some towels that were not there at check in. Took about 3 hours to get a plunger for our toilet that got clogged even after asking an employee that was passing by and two trips to the front desk. Housekeeping only came to clean the room once in our entire week there despite having the "please clean room" tag on the door. The kids club staff was absolutely priceless. The girls there recognized that my son was looking for me and helped him find me. There were fun activities for the kids to do and allowed them to bring home some hand made souvenirs. The servers at each of the restaurants were attentive, kind and family friendly. The food was amazing and I appreciate that it was not "Americanized". They kept with traditional Mexican fare and varied the food at the buffet with each meal."

"The property itself is beautiful, the beach and surrounding areas are beautiful and clean and not so busy. The customer service is exceptional. The only cons are that there is not an AC in the bedroom, only 2 fans so the heat and humidity was unbearable during the afternoon. Additionally, they have a fridge in the room with snacks that gets locked the night before you check out without warning. We left personal items (new beverages and snacks) in the fridge and were not given the chance to take them out."

"There were a lot of amazing things about this property, including the large rooms with working air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the elevator was not working while we were there and it was a lot of steps to get to our room from town every day. Also, our door was very hard to open and close and we notified the staff, but nothing was done about it. I also asked them to come clean the shower since there was hair in it from the previous guest. They did come and clean, but they didn’t clean the hair. The views were spectacular and the breakfast was delicious. So there were a lot of pros but a few cons. We stayed there for three nights and there’s not a lot of places to eat dinner nearby."
