"Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. "
"The included breakfast is amazing—two courses! The bathrooms/showers are very tight in spacing, but there are bigger bathrooms in the attached restaurant section. Those bathrooms/showers are shared by all in the hostel, including those with private rooms (which was fine, never had to wait to use facilities). "This hotel definitely has the best views in Manuel Antonio. The sunset and the view of the ocean were absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend eating dinner at the hotel restaurant during sunset. We were on the top floor with ocean view and it was stunning.
The only issue was that the elevator would go up to our floor but it wouldn’t go down. We didn’t mind walking down the stairs but it was tough when we were going to check out and had to carry our luggage. "
"At shoulder season prices this place offered a great value considering its ideal location. You're across the street from a beautiful beach and a 10-minute walk to the Manuel Antonio National Park. "I throughly enjoyed my stay at La Posada. It backs up to the national forest and so there was a lot of wildlife around the property. The beach was about 2 blocks away through an easy cut through. Lots of restaurants close. The staff was wonderful and friendly. A cooked breakfast was free. "
